During one complete moon cycle, I mark one by one the high and low tides of each day. Is it music? Somebody tells me about the Magallanes lighthouse: \u201cIt welcomes and bids farewell to all the ships sailing along the straits between the pacific and atlantic oceans\\\". It sits looking out over the extreme north of Tierra del Fuego. I discover that I was born on the same day and the same year as the lighthouse started working, 21st December 1976. That day I started thinking we were predestined.<br \/><br \/>The mechanics of the music box were built from the dream I had (estrecho de magallanes \/ luna#1), and playing it has become a daily practice. She was born in Buenos Aires in 1976. In 2016 she participated with the Magall\u00e1nica collective on Argentina\u2019s Ministry of Culture program Plataforma Futuro. In 2018, she received a special mention on the ArteXArte Prize of the Fundaci\u00f3n Alfonso y Luz Castillo. In 2019 she was awarded the creation grant by the Fondo Nacional de las Artes. In the same year she presented her first film, MINGA, at the Festival Biarritz Am\u00e9rique Latine, she took mentoring sessions for one month with Antoine Beuger in Germany, and participated on the \u201cLa marca original\u201d collective exhibition along the Magall\u00e1nica collective at Buenos Aires\u2019 CCK. Since 2018 she 's been the coordinator of Caja Negra, a nomadic work dedicated to independent audiovisual productions created for Cine en grande, Festival de Cine Nacional en Tierra del Fuego. She\u2019s currently working on experimental music projects that deal with the reading of tide tables.
